Bacardi Spooks Rum Lovers For Halloween

Bacardi is prepping for Halloween with two new spots that pay homage to classic horror movie tropes, in a nod to “The Shining” and “Poltergeist.”

Both ads, the Zombieand Blood Moon, highlight the rum brand’s new Halloween cocktails and the return of the limited-edition glow-in-the-dark bottle.

The “Zombie” is set in a gothic cemetery, while “Blood Moon” features a static TV set and eerie gust of wind that welcomes ghostly bartenders.

All content runs on Bacardi’s global social channels this October. Bacardi has created a Terrifyingly Good Halloween Playlist, available on Spotify, and will also launch a custom Snapchat lens that allows anyone to view their face as various Halloween characters inspired by the cocktails.

Bacardi has been owned and operated by the Bacardi family since its founding in 1862. In 2022, the company recorded $4.6 billion in revenue, per Zippia.
