Obama And The Media: Part II

Posted November 5th, 2008 at 3:22 pm by Joe Mandese

The New York Media Information Group’s already spinning on the implications the Obama Administration will have long-term on the media industry and will be holding a panel discussion (”The Next President and the Media: Who’s Really In Charge Here?”) next Thursday (Nov. 17th) at (where else?) the Time Warner Center.

The panel, which takes place from 7:30 to 10 a.m., will address how the media will cover the next presidency (hopefully better than the current one), and will feature:  Amanda Michel, director of OffTheBus/Huffington Post, Michael Oreskest, AP Managing Editor for U.S. News, Brian Reich, political organizer, and Rachel Sterne, founder GroundReport.com. The panel will be moderated by Ellis Henican, staff columnist for Newsday political contributor for Fox News.
