Vice President/Director of Marketing

The Vice President/Director of Marketing will play a significant role in creating a world-class marketing organization to strongly position AudienceScience as the premier audience delivery solution that unleashes the power of data making it simple to create, understand and engage relevant audiences. By leveraging industry leading technology, superior service and unique data assets, AudienceScience drives digital marketing success for advertisers, agencies, publishers and technology partners. The position’s primary scope includes executing the company’s marketing strategy and managing all aspects of marketing communications, public relations, events, product marketing, direct and broad reach advertising and most importantly, developing support materials for our sales efforts. The Vice Presdient/Director of Marketing will be a key and powerful influence in defining marketing and branding strategies for AudienceScience’s technology platform solutions and will have final accountability for successful execution and results. This critical role requires a confident, disciplined and creative marketing leader that clearly understands the digital media market. The successful candidate will join a sophisticated, experienced team of professionals whose drive for results will push AudienceScience as the leader in delivering technology solutions for the digital media industry. Essential functions:  Build the strategic vision and value proposition for the Marketing & Communications organization  Develop a comprehensive marketing strategy that meets company goals.  Manage analyst and investor relations and act as a liaison between revenue science executive management.  Execute and/or contribute to marketing initiatives already in place.  Define and implement priorities for all marketing and branding initiatives.  Demonstrate effective operations planning and execution skills.  Establish effective and productive cross-organizational relationships. Knowledge, skills, abilities, qualifications required: • At least 7-10 years of high-level marketing and communications experience, including project and people management experience with final accountability for strategy, execution and results • At least 7-10 years of experience managing all aspects of marketing communications in a Media environment, including Public Relations, industry events and analyst relations • In-depth experience in driving marketing strategy for media services company • Experience in launching products or services, preferably within the media marketplace • Experience managing analyst and investor relations and ensuring cross-organizational and executive communications • Proven track record in strategic marketing management and the ability to develop and execute creative marketing programs • Experience in strategic planning and a demonstrated ability to turn strategic concepts into world class communications results • Ability to link corporate communication programs to marketing/sales objectives • Excellent communication and team building skills
