Q. What are the dates of eligibility?
Any digital-out-of-home advertising execution or campaign that was active during the qualifying period March 1, 2011 – March 1, 2012.
Q. What is the deadline?
The Early Discount Entry Fee deadline is 5 p.m. Pacific Time on Friday, February 17, 2012.
All entries must be received by the Final Deadline at 5 p.m. Pacific Time on Friday, March 2, 2012 EXTENDED: March 9, 2012.
Q. Can I submit the same entry in more than one category?
Yes, entrants can submit to as many categories as they like. Submissions should reflect work that was predominately done by the submitting agency, advertiser or media company, and the role of collaborating organizations should be referenced.

Yes, entrants can submit as many entries as they like for each category. Submissions should reflect work that was predominately done by the submitting agency, advertiser or media company, and the role of collaborating organizations should be referenced.
Q. How do I submit my entry?
All entries should be submitted electronically via the Digital Out-of-Home Awards Web site by clicking here.
Submissions should include a "brief" with a description of the objectives of the individual ads or campaigns, as well as any anecdotes, supporting facts or figures that illustrate its creativity and accomplishment.
Briefs should be fewer than 300 words in length and must be submitted online during entry submission.
All entries, including HTML, Flash, video and other rich media elements, are to be provided as a single URL with all the elements on, or accessible from, one Web Page. This URL must remain accessible to our screeners and judges until at least April 11, 2012. We do not accept file uploads, attachments, or physical media including DVDs of any type for any reason.
Q. What is the Publishing Policy?
Creative materials and briefs become property of MediaPost Communications. MediaPost is granted the right to publish the winning briefs and creative materials on the Digital Out-of-Home Awards Web site and within MediaPost’s publications.
Q. What are the entry fees?
The Early Discount Entry Fee is $249 per category in most cases with the exception of $349 per campaign category (see full category list).
The Early Discount expires at 5pm Pacific Daylight Time on Friday, February 17, 2011.
Standard Fee applies after that, which is $299 per category and $399 per campaign category.
Entries will not be judged if they are not accompanied by full payment or if they are incmplete in any way.
Q. What is the judging process?
The judging process consists of two rounds of judging. Round One consists of an internal editorial team reviewing and judging the briefs and creative materials. The editorial team hand-picks the finalists. The Final Round of judging is comprised of a panel of top senior client-side brand marketers, top advertising executives, as well as digital technology and outdoor media execs. Together they will review the briefs and creative materials of all the finalists and decide which creative/campaign in each category was the most creative and innovative.
Q. Will we be informed if we are finalists?
All finalists will notified by the end of March, 2012.
Q. When and where will the awards show be held?
Winners will be announced April 11, 2012, during MediaPost’s Digital Out-of-Home Awards Reception at the Sentry Center Midtown East in New York City.
