The Weather Company SVP Cable and Cross Platform Ad Sales

Chris Raleigh oversees cable network advertising sales and cross platform sales for The Weather Company (Weather) brands including The Weather Channel network, weather.com, and The Weather Channel mobile and tablet products. He leads the national sales offices and is based in Weather’s New York office. His team has been consistently recognized as a leading cross-platform sales organization by both Jack Myers Media Business Report and Advertiser Perceptions.

Prior to joining Weather in 2008, Raleigh served as senior vice president of advertising sales for GSN, the Sony Pictures Entertainment and Liberty Media-owned cable network, website and mobile property devoted to game content. He joined GSN after four years as vice president of advertising sales for Tech TV. In this position, he oversaw the national sales offices for the former San Francisco-based national cable network and website.

Too often it seems that digital out-of-home is left off the strategic plan.  In this panel, agency media planners with responsibility for developing an integrated approach to all media will explain how they currently see DOOH within the media mix.  How does the sector need to develop to strengthen its position?  This will be a warts-and-all discussion about current sector strength and weaknesses and what planners need from DOOH vendors.
