Patrick Bonomo is responsible for leading Spafax Networks’ efforts to develop a digital placed-based marketing strategy solution to reach the on-the-go consumer.

Spafax Networks, a division of WPP’s tenthavenue, is using a technology and buying methodology that can serve inventory — via a demand-side platform, or DSP— in the previously uncharted territory of digital placed-based networks. Spafax Networks optimizes digital placed-based campaigns by identifying target consumers down to the sub-block level and enabling buys to be placed in a biddable, real-time marketplace.

Before joining Spafax Networks in 2011, Bonomo was a member of the executive team at Mediacom where he led the agency’s digital operations as managing partner. He joined MediaCom in 2008 from 24/7 Real Media, where he was head of North American search and SEO marketing.

In addition, Bonomo has held the positions of vice president of global operations at Eyeblaster, and senior vice president, global sales & service operations at Jupiter Media Metrix.

Too often it seems that digital out-of-home is left off the strategic plan.  In this panel, agency media planners with responsibility for developing an integrated approach to all media will explain how they currently see DOOH within the media mix.  How does the sector need to develop to strengthen its position?  This will be a warts-and-all discussion about current sector strength and weaknesses and what planners need from DOOH vendors.
