This position will provide an outstanding opportunity for an Assistant Marketing Manager to learn about and assist with strategic initiatives and day-to-day activities for retaining InStyle, Essence and People StyleWatch subscribers.
 
Responsibilities
 
  • Assist the Marketing Manager in managing day-to-day activities for all retention/loyalty channels, including creative development, consumer segmentation, and fulfillment operations
  • Focus on modernizing subscriber communications by driving transactions online, creating targeted messaging and segments, and optimizing existing marketing channels
  • Implement and analyze marketing initiatives and tests; provide recommendations as they relate to the brand’s strategic direction
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (Production, Promotion and Operations/Fulfillment) to ensure integration of objectives, strategy and execution
  • Contribute to ad hoc projects for the brands and/or the division, which could include work on the following: pricing/offer strategy, premium development, loyalty programs, etc.
  • Conduct regular renewal and payment rate revenue forecasting/budgeting and manage financial expense reconciliations
