TRUSTe - Sr. Product Marketing Manager


The digital advertising market is growing exponentially and mobile / cross device are the key driving forces along with continued innovation into ways to collect and use consumer data to target ads.  One of the key challenges faced by advertisers is addressing the legal and brand challenges tied to privacy concerns.  You will provide product marketing leadership for TRUSTe’s portfolio of B2B cloud based advertising compliance products as well as our new consumer privacy app.  You will define and execute programs to drive awareness, generate leads, and close sales for existing products as well as help define new products and GTM strategies.  This position reports to the VP of Marketing and works closely with our Demand Gen, Marketing Communications, Product Management, and Sales teams.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Product Planning (40%) – Drive market analysis, research, customer persona development, value prop creation, messaging, pricing, and packaging for new and existing products
  • Go To Market Programs (30%) – Define and drive marketing programs to generate market awareness, thought leadership, and customer leads
  • Sales Enablement (30%) – Develop sales tools, including datasheets, case studies, presentations, white papers, demos, and sales guides to enable the sales team to close bigger deals faster

 

Qualifications:

  • BA / BS (MBA Preferred) with 5-10 years B2B marketing experience, preferably with an ad-tech company (DSP, SSP, etc.)
  • Experience working with key advertising industry groups (IAB, NAI, DAA), publications (iMedia, Media Post), events (MWC, ad:tech), and industry analysts is a plus (Forrester, eMarketer)
  • Proven experience creating marketing plans encompassing strategy, customer research, competitive analysis, product requirements, messaging, pricing, etc.
  • Significant experience initiating and driving a range of GTM programs including, webinars, tradeshows, social media, SEM / SEO, social media, sales collateral, etc.
  • You enjoy speaking at industry events, evangelizing with analysts and industry groups, talking with customers, creating sales presentations, and writing white papers
  • You have great writing skills and a talent for making complex things sound simple
  • You have a passionate, strong personality that is able to communicate excitement both internally and externally for your products and our company
  • You are a team player who enjoys working across functions and at all levels of the company
  • You want to work in a fast-paced high growth environment where you can make an immediate and significant impact on sales, GTM strategy, and product roadmap
