A+E Networks - Digital Sales Planner

POSITION SUMMARY
Provide support to Digital Media Account Executives through Ad Sales Pricing and Planning Team, in efforts to maximize advertising revenues for all AETN LLC Web Properties  (AETV.com, myLifetime.com History.com, Biography.com) as well as other Mobile, Social Media, Distribution and E-Mail Marketing extensions by responding to RFP’s, creating proposals, assisting in presentations, stewarding accounts, and in servicing orders and client needs.


PRIMARY DUTIES
• Create Digital sales proposals/decks to maximize revenue using Account Executive specifications and Ad Sales  
   Planning inventory guidance within Sales Management  systems.
• Steward accounts and work with Campaign Specialists for Optimization planning of campaigns.
• Coordinate with Linear, Partnerships, Digital Media, Marketing, and Research to facilitate role of Digital in
  sales proposals.
• Respond to all internal and external requests for rates,  Web site stats and content information.
• Provide strategic rationale and research for inventory and pricing.
• Play active role in proposing the sale of minisites and special content executions.
• Develop and maintain client relationships.
• Facilitate Insertion Orders through Third Party system generators (ATLAS, Mediavisor, etc.)
• Maintain status of proposals weekly, updating probability and inventory reports
• Lead in setup of plans through our front-end systems and Operations dept.College Degree preferred. 


Minimum of 2 years digital and/or linear television advertising or sales research experience. Knowledge of media terminology and marketing concepts.  Proven skillset in areas of problem solving, pro-active responsiveness, initiative, and creativity.  Must be a team player and have a client service mindset.  Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Powerpoint) a plus.  Strong media math skills.

Prefer: Candidates with Digital Media Ad Sales systems experience in a Sales Management solution including FreeWheel, Solbright, FatTail and/or Dart Sales manager (DSM). Experience in an Ad Sales serving solution including Ad tech, Dart for Publishers (DFP) or OAS.
