Digital Campaign Associate – National Public Media

Description

The Digital Campaign Associate is part of an ad operations team responsible for implementing digital advertising campaigns on PBS.org and NPR.org. This role actively collaborates with sales, production and site development to ensure the accurate delivery of campaigns and advertising revenue for public broadcasting digital properties.

 

  • Provide planning assistance for sales representatives in generating sales proposals in response to RFPs (screenshots, inventory avails, etc)
  • Implement, monitor and optimize online advertising campaigns using DFP and other ad trafficking tools in a timely and accurate manner
  • Ensure campaign delivery, mitigate discrepancies, and confirm advertiser goals are being fulfilled and billed as scheduled
  • Prepare billing for digital campaigns, to include pulling delivery reports and assessing campaign delivery
  • Partner with sales team, clients & agencies, site production & development, delivery, and marketing teams to optimize campaign performance based on client goals
  • Other duties as assigned


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 1-2 years of experience in digital media and advertising preferred
  • Some ad trafficking experience with a major commercial (DART for Publishers, AdTech, etc) ad server system is a plus
  • Must have attention to detail, ability to work independently and as part of a larger team and possess excellent organizational skills
  • Must have excellent communication, relationship building and interpersonal skills, with the ability to converse technically and clearly with internal and external clients
  • Exceptional interest in public media
  • Must have great technical skills and the ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • Must have some experience building and running web sites,
  • Must be proficient in Excel and comfortable working with math and formulas
  • Interest in new digital media and technologies
  • Background or experience in graphic design a plus
  • Customer Service focus with a positive attitude
  • Ability to handle heavy workload, prioritize projects, multi-task and enjoy challenges
