Director of Consumer Communications/CRM

 

The Director of CRM will lead our CRM marketing team in improving the efficacy of our customer communication programs. You will develop the vision for creating more meaning, relevant and valuable consumer engagement across a variety of channels, and lead the team in executing the vision. This person combines an advanced understanding of the balance between business and customer needs with an advanced functional knowledge of CRM/digital marketing.

 

The ideal candidate will have experience building best-in-class CRM processes for a lifestyle brand with millions of subscribers. You are a visionary, able to create and articulate ambitious goals that inspire the team, and earn the trust of senior leadership across the business. You are focused on execution and details and on delivering results. You are a great guide and mentor to your team, and have a strong track record of hiring and developing the best. You are an analytical superstar, able to dive deep into the data around you to create insight and evaluate results.
Your recent experience covers ownership of direct marketing where you created a big impact.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a core business expert for Global Center of Excellence
  • Develop consumer communications streams for segmented audiences
  • Led strategic planning of the CRM communications function for each Business Unit and Category
  • Communicate and present CRM strategies to respective teams and cross-functional partners for new and current programs for optimization and improvements.
  • Gather and package performance measurement on a weekly basis, as well as, manage to E-commerce, Community and CRM goals.
  • Implement CRM best practices and lead continuous optimization efforts 
  • Build a large community with highly engage members
  • Compose creative briefs, coordinating creative development and creative delivery working with creative agency, managing to budget and established style guides.
  • Own relationships with external vendor partners and cross-functional team members
  • Oversee creative execution

 

Qualifications:

  • 10-15 years progressive Direct Marketing or related experience
  • Large consumer / media experience
  • 5+ years leadership experience
  • Strong communication skills - written, verbal, presentation and facilitation
  • Proficient analytical and data analysis skills
  • Bachelor's degree, MBA preferred
