Position Summary / Scope

Reed Group is seeking a VP of Marketing to lead all marketing activities at Reed Group. We have accelerated our branding and digital marketing efforts over the past two years, and are looking for the ideal candidate to take Reed Group to the next level. Ideally, this candidate will have broad base marketing experience, having led teams across marketing functions, and is looking for an opportunity to have significant, direct impact on the direction and growth of a mid-market, profitable and growing company. Reed Group will choose the right candidate based on experience and cultural fit, and the right combination of marketing skills, including:

1. Set corporate marketing strategy

2. Identify brand’s unique USP for development and multi-channel roll-out

3. Drive public relations and communication efforts

4. Build and lead a team of marketing and communications professionals

5. Establish and institutionalize a seamless digital marketing experience

6. Develop and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns

7. Lead creative and advertising services

8. Own internal communication and branding

9. Manage trade show activity

10. Act as an ambassador for the organization

11. Create and evangelize a "marketing culture" in order to advance Reed Group’s brand and position with prospective employees and clients

12. Facilitate customer-centric behavior by building client-focused communication channels through the use of digital, experiential and content marketing channels.

Seasoned Leader: With a minimum of 15 years of increasing responsibility in marketing leadership roles.

Hands-on, Can-do Approach: A non-political team player who can quickly establish himself/herself as a trusted member of the senior management team and can be trusted to get things done. Identifies closely with, and is committed to the achievement of the Company’s mission.

Leadership Maturity: A highly ethical, "intellectually honest", and successful professional, who leads with the executive presence and industry stature to effectively represent the company and its mission externally, and to bring enhanced credibility to the company and its products.

Educational Foundation: Has a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; MBA or other advanced degree is preferred.

The critical importance of this position is reflected in a highly attractive compensation package that includes a competitive annual base salary and an annual bonus structure.
