MRM//McCann - Group Media Director

SUMMARY
 
The Media Planning Manager is responsible for managing a team in developing, executing, and monitoring media plans for clients as well as developing and executing cross discipline communications planning.
 
 
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Responsible for full media management of accounts assuring that all necessary marketing strategy and program direction is provided, thorough and clearly understood
  • Develops media strategies consistent with brand marketing objectives and selling strategy
  • Recommends targeted, innovative media solutions consistent with go‐to‐market strategies
  • Oversees media plan development and implementation
  • Oversees staff in the day‐to‐day activities of campaign development and implementation and ensures best practices are applied across all team responsibilities
  • Maintains relationships with all levels of client and cross‐functional agency teams
  • Prepares and makes presentations to clients regarding media strategies and recommendations
  • Plans, directs, supervises, and coordinates work activities of subordinates
  • Seeks out information to remain current on media trends and continually strives to lead group in developing innovative media solutions
Requirements::
  • 7+ years experience in Advertising with 5+ years in Engagement PLanning and 3+ years of managing others
  • Bachelors degree in Advertising, Marketing, Business or related field
  • Exhibits solid interpersonal/communication skills
  • Works in a positive and supportive manner as a team member and agency representative
  • Flexible and willing to perform unrelated job functions
  • Understands the motivations and needs of clients, and generating ideas and actions that produce results for their business
  • Has the ability to inspire trust through anticipating the needs of the client, & generating new ideas
  • B2B and Tech media experience a must
