We Are Looking For:

We are currently seeking an innovative and results-oriented Social Media Manager for our Beachbody brand that can deliver game-changing marketing programs and a world-class customer experience. This individual is responsible for the success of the brand in social media including strategy, operations and measurement.  He/She will interface daily with internal and external teams, as well as executive stakeholders.  In addition to outbound campaigns, the Manager will contribute regularly to the Social Team’s market intelligence and innovation programs. This position is located in our Santa Monica office and reports to the Executive Director of Social Media. 

You're Right For This Job If You Can:

  • Develop and implement social media strategy and best practices across various platforms (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Tumblr, Youtube, Pinterest, Instagram, Reddit, etc.)  
  • Manage social media campaigns and oversee day-to-day activities
  • Develop and implement creative and highly measurable social media programs and campaigns. This includes planning an editorial calendar, creative strategy and briefs and some copywriting; photoshop expertise is a plus
  • Own the engagement and business impact of followers and communities; contribute to acquisition campaign strategy and optimization
  • Develop influencer/advocate programs and maintain relationships
  • Own and update brand’s social media dashboard and report success and lessons learned; actively “listen” to the social media community and regularly report findings.
  • Identify opportunities, trends and features in the social media space; justify investments in new social media trends through business metrics and optimization and testing across brands.
  • Work with the Marketing Team to support the integration of social features across our sites
  • Collaborate with the Content Team on utilization of our blog destination
  • Ensure that campaigns meet marketing objectives
  • Manage team of 1-2, proactively contribute insights and ideas to the Social Team
  • Interface daily with brand leadership, analytics and creative team members
Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in journalism, marketing or PR
  • 5-7 years of marketing, public relations or corporate communications experience, with 2+ years of direct social media experience
  • Proven success in launching and executing social media campaigns, including: Facebook, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, etc.
  • An accomplished track record of digital initiatives driving content sharing, community participation, and lasting brand connections
  • A deep understanding of content and messaging optimization by channel, and how to best build a brand online
  • Copywriting skills; strong written communication skills
  • Experience measuring, analyzing, and presenting campaign and program performance against established business objectives
  • Familiarity with adjacent programs and platforms are a plus: Wordpress, Sprinklr, Omniture, Adobe Creative Suite and Sysomos
  • Working understanding of SEO and SEM
  • Extraordinary people skills and confidence working with cross-functional groups
  • Tenacity and thick skin, with the ability to turn input from all levels into improved output and greater results
