Greatist - Account Executive, Sales & Partnerships

Working closely with Greatist’s Brand Partnerships Team this individual will be responsible for generating revenue and managing an active portfolio of clients. What You'll Be Charged With:

  • Be among the first hires for Greatist’s brand partnerships team. You will have tremendous responsibility in shaping the partnerships division and overall direction for the company.
  • Motivated to produce a significant volume of outbound client activity, such as phone-calls and client meetings. Greatist, being a relatively new brand, requires you to be a passionate brand evangelist.
  • Dedicated revenue goals that need to be met over specified periods of time.
  • Create outbound proposals that are creative, cutting edge and valuable to today’s marketers i.e. native, social, mobile, video, etc
  • Assume ownership, externally and internally, for all Brand Partnerships accounts
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment, hyper-organized and able to maintain many diverse responsibilities; additionally being able to scale your capabilities as the Brand Partnerships division and company grows.
  • Maintain accurate reporting and forecasting via CRM tools.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3-5 years experience in successful sales role(s) and account management
  • The ability to sell a premium brand, requiring a consultative and thoughtful partnership sales approach.
  • A proven leader and a self-starter.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and via writing.
  • Highly organized and focused multi-tasker with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to be strategic while also being tactical.
  • Strong analytical and project management skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and deadline driven environment.
  • High energy, positive, enthusiastic, and a relentless desire to succeed.

Aptitude with software/technology such as: Powerpoint, Excel, Photoshop, CRM tools (Insightly), Productivity tools (Asana, Slack), and Media Planning tools (DFP)
