A+E Television Networks - Digital Account Executive
Position Summary
A+E Networks is seeking a strategic and energetic Digital Account Executive to sell multiplatform advertising across History, Lifetime, A&E and fyi. This highly motivated person must develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients within an assigned territory.
Primary Responsibilities
- Prospect, develop and maintain client/advertising agency business.
Present the full suite of multi-platform advertising solutions
(including video, display, mobile and social)
- Collaborate and co-sell with on-air sales team to build, sell and
execute cross platform 360 sponsorships
- Must also be able to successfully collaborate with Digital Media, Sales
Partnerships, P&I, Ad Ops Analytics and other departments that can
affect revenue.
PRIMARY DUTIES
- Grow and maintain business and relationships with all assigned agencies
and clients.
- Proactive strategic planning of account list
- Thorough and timely responses to all requests for proposals
- Be team oriented - Oversee daily activities of Digital Planner & Digital
Specialist
- Develop New Business, strategize to identify and pursue potentially
underdeveloped accounts.
- Work with other Ad Sales team members across all A+E Networks brands,
digital & on-air,
to secure largest share of media dollars
- Candidate must have strong conceptual and consultative sales skills and
has at least four years sales experience and a minimum of two years
digital sales experience
- Prior cable industry sales experience a plus
- Candidate must have digital agency/client relationships
- Must be professional and an extremely organized team player
- Candidate must possess proven solution-oriented skill sets and a track
record for closing fiscally
responsible business deals that are in alignment with overall corporate
vision and goals
- Travel required
- College degree required
