Interactive One - Client Services Associate

The Client Services Associate provides a high level of sales support to designated Sales Rep(s) by serving as the primary point of contact for clients on post-sale discussions, creating proposals and sales presentations in response to incoming RFPs across pre-sales as well as post-sale support including managing client expectations & deliverables, working with Campaign Managers on monitoring and optimizing online campaigns. 


 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Oversee and manage accounts throughout pre and post-sale phases
  • Drive revenue growth by developing and delivering compelling media plans using, including, but not limited to: DFP, Comscore and other research tools (e.g. user insights)
      • Conceptualize and contribute ideas for plans, pull inventory, pricing, research & decks
      • Assist sellers with RFPs that are over minimum spend level by pulling research & inventory based on direction from seller
  • Serve as primary client liaison during post-sales, building & develop client relationships and providing world-class client support.
  • Build media plans/IOs in DSM and attain needed approvals based on lead-time and campaign start date.
  • With receipt of client-signed IO, Review T’s and C’s and alert sellers and Finance of any discrepancies, obtain third-party billing and Rich Media information, as well as work closely with client on assets / deliverables.
  • Manage the day-to-day contact with clients in the post-sale stage, including, but not limited to:
    • Collaborate with ad operations/traffic at time of campaign launch and throughout the campaign to ensure delivery
    • Provide reporting regularly to clients throughout life of campaign and campaign wrap-up report once complete
    • Identify up-sell opportunities in weekly meetings with sellers
  • Out of office contact for seller & AAE/Sales Associates
  • Review/resolve billing issues with campaign managers in order to provide accurate information to Finance

 


 CRITICAL COMPETENCIES FOR SUCCESS:

  • Knowledgeable of the online advertising industry and media planning 
  • Experience with online planning and ad serving technologies and ad operations processes (DFP/DSM experience a major plus)
  • Strong computer skills (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint)
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a high-pressure, fast-paced team environment
  • Interest in learning and developing strong direct sales skills
  • Direct client contact (telephone, email, in-person) skills
  • Interest in meeting agency buyers and planners in social and networking environments
  • An interest in social networking and emerging media
