Roles and Responsibilities:

  • We are seeking highly motivated sales candidates with 1-3 years in sales or digital media planning who can prospect, pitch and close business in the rapidly growing mobile video and rich media market.
  • Must have an Agency/publisher/network planning or ad ops background to start from. Will help establish a Rolodex or enhance the one you already have while gaining valuable Mobile experience!
  • 100% accountability for meeting/exceeding sales quotas
  • Sell Mobile Video and Rich Media advertising to Ad Agencies and Client Direct
  • Prospect and uncover new sales opportunities, including collecting RFPs, RFIs, etc.
  • Develop deep understanding and relationships with assigned agencies/clients in order to break new business and grow existing business

Skill Set:

  • 3 years of successful sales or digital media planning (mobile and/or video experience a plus!)
  • Working knowledge of Chicago media agencies and clients
  • Ability to present compelling in-person and phone sales presentations to multiple levels of decision makers
  • High level of motivation to close sales, learn our clients business, and work closely with all levels of internal staff on a daily basis
  • Clear understanding of the programmatic marketplace
  • Highly intelligent, with a strong educational background
  • Outstanding organizational skills; must have ability to acquire, accumulate, and report on sales territory and account-level activity in an extremely fast paced and complex environment
  • Fluent and precise written, oral and presentation skills; ability to demonstrate and simplify complex data
  • Proficient with MS Office suite including PowerPoint and Excel; familiarity with Salesforce
