Baldwin& - Sr. Digital Media Planner/Buyer

The Senior Digital Media Planner/Buyer position will develop strategically appropriate media approaches that will drive our clients’ objectives, by continuously tracking and optimizing these tactics. In addition to media planning and buying, a successful candidate will work with internal teams to contribute to Baldwin&’s knowledge base by creating and sharing case studies, POVs and seminar/conference summaries, as well as maintain communication with the internal and external teams.

Responsibilities & Preferred Skills

  • Researching, developing and presenting paid digital media plans and optimization recommendations
  • Maintaining relationships and negotiating contracts with external media account representatives
  • Managing the paid digital and social media budget, including processing insertion orders, approving invoices, and reconciling funds at the end of campaigns
  • Trafficking and QAing ad tags and creative using 3rd party ad serving tools
  • Providing digital activity and campaign performance insight reports, and presenting these reports to the client when necessary
  • Coordinating creative assets and approvals with external partners, project management and account team
  • Collaborating with internal and external teams on reporting and campaign tracking (pixel implementation)
  • Working with clients and their social agencies to sponsor social posts
  • Assisting in capabilities presentations and research for new business opportunities
  • Understanding and constantly evaluating current and emerging trends and their impact on business strategies

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated track record of digital media campaign performance 
  • Bachelor's Degree and equivalent work experience
  • 2-5 years of digital media experience, preferably in a Media Planning/Buying role
  • Must have prior experience using the following tools/platforms:
    • Google Analytics
    • DoubleClick Campaign Manager (formerly DFA)
    • Social Ad Platforms (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn)
    • comScore
  • Experience with the following tools/platforms is a plus, but not required:
    • SEM Platforms (Google AdWords, Bing, Yahoo)
    • Competitive Tracking (Kantar Media, Competitrack)
    • Market Research (MRI, Simmons)
    • Google Tag Manager
