A+E Networks - Account Executive-Cross Platform

Essential Responsibilities:

Formulate and execute a sales strategy to deliver and exceed revenue goals by prospecting, servicing and developing account lists.

 

Present and evangelize the full suite of multi-platform advertising solutions to develop, and secure new endemic and non-endemic ad sales partnerships and revenue (including on-air, vod, video, display, mobile and social).

 

Must be able to successfully collaborate and interact On-Air, Digital Media, Sales Partnerships, Revenue Management, Ad Ops, Analytics and other departments to carry out client objectives/requirements. 


Basic Qualifications:

  • Candidate must have strong conceptual and consultative sales skills and have at least four years’ experience within an ad sales department and a minimum of two years digital and/or on-air sales experience
  • Prior cable industry sales experience a plus
  • Candidate must have strong agency/client relationships
  • Must be professional and an extremely organized team player
  • Candidate must possess proven solution-oriented skill sets and a track record for closing fiscally responsible business deals that are in alignment with overall corporate vision and goals
  • Travel required
  • College degree required
      

Primary Duties:

 

  • Embrace, understand, target, pitch and secure new sources of advertising revenue
  • Grow and maintain business and relationships with all assigned agencies and clients.
  • Proactive strategic planning of account list
  • Thorough and timely responses to all requests for proposals
  • Be team oriented - Oversee daily activities of on-air and digital support team
  • Develop New Business, strategize to identify and pursue underdeveloped accounts.
  • Work with other Ad Sales team members across all A+E Networks brands, digital & on-air, to secure largest share of media dollars
