SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment - Corporate Sr. Manager, Interactive Marketing

Primary purpose and function of position

The Interactive Senior Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing the company’s digital marketing strategy for SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment. The individual in the role will be accountable for positioning inbound & outbound consumer facing digital communications to create demand and drive revenue for the parks. The Senior Manager will work closely with internal stakeholders and will champion digital marketing across the company through deep expertise, earned influence and effective change management.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
  • Direct domestic and international digital strategy and how the SeaWorld and Busch Gardens brands are represented to the consumer.
  • Create digital platform development strategy to align with SEA vision for the ideal consumer Web and mobile experience with SEA brands.  Provide guidance to SEA marketing leadership to improve online guest experience, increase revenue performance and ensure that the level of investment is consistent with expected ROI.  Determine synergies across digital, social, and direct marketing channels.
  • Oversee Web/mobile and eCommerce creative development and redesign efforts. Work with corporate and park executives to align business goals and create platforms that will have the greatest impact
  • Develop, monitor and report ROI for SEA digital platforms. Provide updates to SEA marketing leadership reporting analysis of key metrics associated with core projects. Actively share best practices across Parks.
  • Manage team members including approving and prioritizing projects, budgets, etc., managing individual and team performance through coaching, feedback, and performance management discussions.

Scope of Job

The ideal candidate will have a marketing strategy background along with experience in digital marketing. We are seeking a candidate with a strong entrepreneurial spirit and a proven ability to drive business development and outcomes using various digital marketing vehicles. The candidate must be able to manage multiple complex projects to completion while seizing emerging opportunities. Lastly, this candidate must have deep knowledge of the latest media, entertainment, and interactive trends.

Education and Special Skills
  • Candidate must hold a Bachelors degree in Marketing or a related business field; MBA or related post-graduate degree preferred
Experience
  • 5-7 years of marketing experience
  • 3+ years experience in digital marketing or eCommerce
