PGA TOUR - Manager, Ad Technology - Digital

We presently have an opportunity for a Manager, Ad Technology within our Digital department. The Advertising Technology Manager is responsible for identifying, evaluating, implementing and overseeing critical products and systems to support the department’s revenue goals.

 

Qualified candidates will have the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 5-7 years of work experience in digital advertising technology and web development
  • Experience deploying and operating digital advertising technology systems or related digital publishing systems required
  • Business Analysis, Technical writing and experience with quality assurance processes required
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint required
  • Project Management skills required. Golf knowledge/background a plus

 

Responsibilities:

  • Implement, improve and maintain various digital advertising technology systems, acting as primary technical integration resource, then operational lead. This includes:
    • Working between various ad technology vendors and internal TOUR teams, which include sales, ad product, product, web development and editorial production teams, among others
    • Providing technical support to product teams as they develop new offerings and to the client services teams as they execute sponsored campaigns
    • Clearly and efficiently communicating priorities and timelines for response to all requests
    • Optimizing, trouble-shooting, and maintain digital advertising systems across all platforms
    • Leading issue identification and resolution as needed
  • Operate the systems needed to support PGA TOUR Digital’s revenue operational efforts. This includes operating systems that support departmental
    • Viewability goals
    • Responses to ad blocking
    • Creative scanning
    • Audience data collection policies, including regulatory and industry self-regulatory best practice compliance
    • Secure supply chain best practices
  • Directly implement, or oversee, the certification of creative vendors, viewability/analytics vendors, or other partners, as needed
  • Assist in the identification, evaluation, and selection of new advertising technology systems
  • Participate in Internet Advertising Bureau (IAB) committees and working groups in order to learn and contribute to industry best practices
  • Special projects or other duties as assigned
