Northlich - Senior Media Planner/Buyer

Northlich has an exciting opportunity in our Media group for a Senior Media Planner/Buyer to strategically develop and execute the marketing and advertising campaigns of its clients across all media channels, both traditional and digital. This position requires strong traditional media background (TV, radio, OOH and print.)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Developing and executing planning and buying process across all platforms
• Serves as a market expert and provides strategy and recommendations based upon client goals and targets
• Manages media accounts
• Attends to the details of the media plans and ensures successful execution and delivery
• Manages and maintains relationships with vendors to ensure proper execution of schedules
• Stewardship of all buys to ensure  performance
• Prepare POVs and position papers on client issues and opportunities
• Gathers data in the planning stages from new media options and opportunities
• Pulls and interprets research information from syndicated resources
• Handles all buying processes from RFP to IO
• Works closely with the Account Team and Project Management to provide timelines and specs for all media deliverables
• Maintains accurate and up-to-date client documents
• Reconciles and posts all media invoices

Experience and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• Five-seven years of media planning/buying experience with two years of media planning
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal and quantitative/analytical skills
• Detail oriented and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with minimal assistance
• Proficiency in MS Office and media software and tools (Strata, Adviews, Scarborough)
• Strong business writing skills
• Outstanding negotiation skills
