Cater2.me - Digital Media Specialist

We’re a growing 160-person startup on a mission to make eating at work amazing. Our marketing team loves using our creative and analytical skills to grow the brand. We prioritize learning and development, data-driven thinking, and getting things done. Our team works collaboratively across 11 US offices, from San Francisco and Denver to Austin and DC.

We’re looking for the right marketer to join us, in this new role that you can help shape. You will have a high level of responsibility and opportunity and will report to the Director of Marketing.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a multi-channel media advertising that delivers on marketing objectives
  • Plan, manage, execute, and report on all ad campaigns
  • Make ongoing optimizations, including daily management of budgets, bids, creative, keywords, targeting, etc.
  • Come up with creative campaign ideas based on insights and data
  • Develop and execute test-and-learn programs against new targets, messages, etc.
  • Collaborate with other team members to build integrated campaigns (with PR, social media, events, etc.)
  • Be the internal expert on all things media; train and educate internal stakeholders and peers about advertising and media
  • Provide regular reporting and analysis on results
  • Stay up-to-date on new vendors, media opportunities, and trends

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of experience in digital media planning and buying, including:
    • Exposure to different channels: SEM (AdWords), display, paid video, paid social media, OOH, etc.
    • Deep expertise in at least 2 types of paid advertising
  • Experience working with data sets to understand, analyze, and optimize campaigns
    • Knowledge of conversion tracking, including multi-channel attribution
    • Understanding of audience insights and segmentation
  • Familiarity with relevant software, like ad trafficking, tag management, analytics, click fraud, and viewability tools
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
  • Curiosity and a desire to keep learning
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative

Pluses:

  • Familiarity with marketing automation, SEO, programmatic buying, and/or lead scoring
  • Experience with syndicated data like Comscore, Strata, Nielsen, etc.
  • Google AdWords and/or Analytics certification
