NBC, which did not release a premiere date, says the pranksters won't always stir up trouble, but may unite troubled families in emotional segments.

"Working with Ashton and knowing his memorable experiences with the jokes he pulled off on 'Punk'd' made it that much more enticing," says Craig Plestis, senior vice president of alternative programming at NBC.
