    Washington Mutual has selected Leo Burnett USA as its agency of record. The agency will be responsible for developing ad campaigns and overseeing media buying. The account is estimated at $100 million.
  • PolyMedica
    Mullen
    PolyMedica Corporation, a provider of healthcare products such as diabetes testing supplies, has hired Mullen as lead strategic and creative agency to support its family of companies, including Liberty Healthcare and National Diabetic Pharmacies. Mullen will be responsible for creative development, planning and buying for direct mail and online marketing, and public relations. The work was won without a review. According to industry estimates, the account is valued at $70 million.

    Bacardi has awarded Young & Rubicam global creative duties on its estimated $160 million account. The agency bested Fallon, davidandgoliath, and McCann Erickson for the win.

    Invitrogen, a provider of life science technologies for disease research, drug discovery, and commercial bio-production, has selected Philip Johnson Associates (PJA) as its global agency of record. Billings were not released. PJA will be responsible for all of Invitrogen's global communications, including brand and product advertising.
  • Canadian Film Centre's Worldwide Short Film Festival

    Due to the agency's recent growth, TAXI will not be creating the next campaign for the Canadian Film Centre's Worldwide Short Film Festival (WSFF). Over the last seven years, TAXI produced the creative pro bono for the WSFF. The agency will continue to work on specific design projects such as the Film Centre's 2006 winter gala and auction ICubanisimo!.
