    Fox Filmed Entertainment has placed its whopping $1.1 billion global media account in review, a consolidation effort. MindShare and Organic are two of the agencies currently working on the account.

    DDB
    Safeway has awarded DDB its $250 million broadcast account. The agency bested Euro RSCG for the win. PHD will handle media planning and buying chores.
  • Subway
    Agency.com
    Citing a conflicting account, Agency.com has pulled out of Subway's interactive account review a month after the agency posted its 9-minute pitch on YouTube.com.

    Eastman Kodak has placed its $500 million global media account in review.
  • Windstream Communications
    The Media Kitchen
    The Media Kitchen has been awarded media strategy and planning duties for Windstream Communications, a company created through the spin-off of Alltel's landline business and merger with VALOR Communications Group. The agency will focus on media communications at the local market level. The Concept Farm oversees all creative duties. TV and radio buying will be handled by Horizon Media; Media Space Solutions will handle print buying; and outdoor buying will be handled by Wilkins Media.

    M&C Saatchi New York
    M&C Saatchi New York has been named agency of record for CT-based AIG Financial Products Corp, a subsidiary of American International Group. The agency will launch AIG-FP's first-ever global ad campaign set to run in Asia, Europe and the US. Round2 Communications will handle media duties. First efforts launch in September, under the tag line, "Less of the Same." The campaign consists of global print buy, along with online and outdoor components.

    KraftMaid Cabinetry has placed its $4 million advertising account in review. Incumbent Doner will not defend.

    Naked Communications
    OLN has added Naked Communications to its roster to aid the network's rebranding efforts. Naked will work with TAXI New York and will serve as a partner in planning both the marketing and communications for Versus, OLN's future name, as well as creative ideation.

    LeapFrog Enterprises, a developer of technology-based educational products, has named TBWA/Chiat/Day, Los Angeles as its ad agency responsible for the LeapFrog learning brand.

    GatesmanMarmionDrake Advertising has been awarded the Katahdin Cedar Logs Homes account, responsible for research, advertising, direct marketing, public relations and interactive work. The account is valued at $2 million.

    The Wisconsin Department of Tourism has selected Hanson Dodge Creative to oversee the strategic and creative development of its tourism Web site.

    Stowe Mountain Resort has retained Kelliher Samets Volk to develop advertising and collateral materials for the '06 - '07 ski and ride season. Burch & Company and MMB previously handled the account. Billings were not disclosed. New work, including both print and broadcast, will break in September. KSV will also handle media planning and buying duties.
