    BMW placed the media portion of its $150 million ad account in review. Incumbent GSD&M Idea City will defend.

    Young & Rubicam, Ogilvy & Mather and Merkley + Partners are the three agencies vying for creative and media chores on Wachovia's $145 million account.
  • Quaker Oats

    Quaker Oats has placed its $120 million account in review. Element 79 previously handled the account and will not participate in the review.

    The NBA Cleveland Cavaliers named Cenergy as its advertising agency of record. Work was previously handled in-house. Cenergy will develop both branding and sales activation campaigns consisting of TV, radio, print and online components. New work breaks in September. Spending was not released.

    Rayovac named Cramer-Krasselt its agency of record. C-K's Milwaukee office will handle all creative and media support for integrated broadcast, interactive and print campaigns. Annual media spending is $20 million.
