    The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company selected Digitas as interactive agency of record, following a review. Digitas will handle all digital assignments including consumer Web, digital marketing, digital media planning and buying, social and mobile marketing, search and CRM chores. In addition, the company shifted creative chores to GSD&M Idea City. McCann Erickson previously handled the account.

    Empower MediaMarketing has been assigned digital creative and all media planning and buying duties for LCA-Vision, a provider of laser vision correction services under the LasikPlus brand. Last year, LCA-Vision spent more than $30 million on media placement.

    LifeLock, a provider of identity theft protection, named McCann Erickson West, which is comprised of McCann Erickson offices in Los Angeles, Salt Lake City, and San Francisco, to handle its integrated U.S. advertising communications.

    Fazoli's, a 250-unit Italian chain, tapped Brokaw to handle its creative chores. Right Place Media will continue to provide media buying and digital marketing duties, while Brad Ritter Communications will continue to handle PR work.

    Sapporo USA, producer of Sapporo, an Asian beer sold in the U.S., has named Moosylvania to be its lead marketing partner for all strategic and creative initiatives in the U.S.
  • CURE
    The Gate Worldwide
    CURE, a not-for-profit auto insurance for responsible drivers, selected The Gate Worldwide as its agency of record. The agency will also handle marketing for CURE's sister company, NJ PURE, the only direct writer of medical malpractice insurance in New Jersey. The agency's initial work for CURE will focus on repositioning the CURE brand through an integrated communications program using traditional, non-traditional and social media elements. Campaigns for both companies are expected to launch in early summer.
