Virgin America has named Eleven Inc. as its media agency of record, expanding its relationship with the firm. The agency will be responsible for all media duties for Virgin America, including planning and buying for digital, search and emerging media. Eleven currently handles creative, strategy and offline media planning and buying. The incumbent agencies were Carat and iProspect in San Francisco.
The American Red Cross selected BBDO New York to be its creative agency of record. BBDO will provide the non-profit organization with a combination of pro bono and fee-based work. The first work is expected to debut this fall, and will include online and offline work, social media, consumer, business-to-business and collateral materials for both disaster and non-disaster times.

The VIA Agency was named agency of record for People's United Bank, a financial services company with 340 branches throughout the northeast. Work includes strategic planning, new brand positioning, creative and media planning, and media buying via TV, radio, print, outdoor and digital outlets. The work is expected to launch in early fall.
Caesars Entertainment Corporation hired Gravity Media as its Asian marketing agency. Gravity Media will focus its efforts on enhancing Caesars Entertainment's relationship with the Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese, Filipino and Japanese markets. The agency will assist in planning, creative development and execution of advertising, events, digital and social marketing, public relations and communications.
Philadelphia-based discount department store chain Jomar, has named LevLane as its first agency of record.
