  • Volvo Cars
    Arnold

    Volvo Cars awarded its marketing business in China and the UK to Arnold Worldwide, expanding its relationship with holding company Havas. Arnold already handles Volvo Cars’ global integrated account and the business in North America. Volvo Cars’ China and UK markets were previously handled by SapientNitro, which retains the business in Australia. Additionally, Euro RSCG 4D, Arnold’s sister agency, remains lead digital agency and will share a portion of global coordination duties with Arnold. Starting in 2012, Arnold Worldwide will lead the account across all agencies from Arnold Amsterdam, supported by Arnold Boston and Arnold Shanghai.

    Bayer awarded its U.S. media account, estimated at $300 million, to Mediacom, following a review. Initiative previously handled the account.

    Goodness Mfg.

    El Pollo Loco has split with its agency, Goodness Mfg.

    Digitas

    Sprint has parted ways with its creative agency, Goodby Silverstein & Partners. Digitas will now serve as lead agency.

    Cramer-Krasselt

    Joy Global, a provider of underground and surface mining equipment and services, named the Milwaukee office of Cramer-Krasselt as its agency of record, following a review. C-K will serve as the lead agency on a global assignment spanning branding, public relations, advertising, digital and employee communications.

    Eric Mower and Associates

    Eric Mower and Associates was hired by Schick Technologies as agency of record to handle strategic planning, brand management, digital development, advertising, public relations, social media, e-marketing and media planning chores.
