    BeckTV, a systems integrator that has spent the last 30 years designing and building every type of fixed and mobile professional television facility, has selected Wall Street Communications as its media relations and content marketing agency. Wall Street Communications will work with BeckTV to raise awareness of the company's full-service integration offering, from equipment procurement and architectural planning to fabrication and systems engineering.

    TBWA\Chiat\Day Los Angeles was tapped by lifestyle and watch brand, Nixon, to increase awareness of the company. The agency will be responsible for creating long-term growth strategies, communication planning and campaign development.     Gravity Media has been awarded Comcast’s Xfinity multicultural account and will focus on the Asian, Arabic and Brazilian U.S. markets as well as other targeted ethnic markets throughout the country. The agency will develop strategy and creative while managing media for targeted markets to promote Xfinity's product offerings, inclusive of television, phone, internet, and integrated home services, such as home security and monitoring. "As we continue to expand the programming and core offerings of the Xfinity brand, we need partners who understand the nuances and unique cultures of our customers," stated Jose Velez Silva, senior director of multicultural marketing communications, Comcast Cable. "Gravity Media has been selected based upon their proven record of success to deliver key communities across the nation."

    Uncle Maddio's Pizza Joint tapped Scout as its first agency of record for advertising and marketing services, following a review. Uncle Maddio's is a fast casual pizza franchise, operating 19 restaurants in seven states. The national brand will open 24 restaurants in 2014 including five new states, including North Dakota, Colorado and Florida. The Uncle Maddio's account will be led out of Scout's Atlanta office, the home base of Uncle Maddio's corporate office. The agency will create TV and radio commercials, in-store retail creative, digital and social media marketing, and franchise marketing support. "We're very passionate about the Uncle Maddio's concept and admire the tremendous success the brand has achieved so far," said Cheryl Maher, senior vice president, director of client services for Scout. "Our team is enthusiastic about putting our brave thinking to work, and help Uncle Maddio's show even more communities how its 'Served With Love' concept is more than a tagline."

    Boulder-based Newton Running Co. has renamed TDA_Boulder as its advertising agency of record, responsible for brand identity, digital and traditional advertising, and sponsorship/event marketing. First work, targeting "more-than-occasional" runners, breaks in July. Moxie Sozo, Boulder, previously handled the account. TDAhad been agency of record for Newton from their inception in 2007 until 2009, during which time they were responsible for naming the company, and for strategy and traditional and digital advertising. "Our revamped product line is developing some marketplace momentum. TDA is the perfect agency to help us layer on a compelling brand message and awesome creative," said Craig Heisner, president of Newton Running. Newton Running spent $918,000 on measured media in 2013, down from $1.5 million spent in 2012, according to Kantar Media. Additional TDA_Boulder clients include FirstBank, Noodles & Company, General Mills, Deschutes Brewery, French's (condiments) and Patagonia.
