HBO signed David Chase, the creator of "The Sopranos," to a new miniseries about the history of Hollywood moviemaking, from silents to the present day, reports
The New York Times. The series is
called "Ribbon of Dreams" and it will follow two fictional characters and their heirs through the movie business. Brad Grey will serve as executive producer on this project, much as he did on "The
Sopranos."
