Lysol Drives NASCAR Bathrooms

Lysol is activating its sponsorship of NASCAR racing with several marketing programs this year, including customer hospitality, product promotions and at-track marketing.

The Reckitt Benckiser sanitation brand will include "Lysol Clean" women's bathrooms on-site at nine race events in 2009, each cleaned and maintained by Lysol Brand ambassadors.

Lysol will also have exit samplers at the bathrooms, Lysol coupons, Sprint Vision ads, bathroom signage and the Lysol logo on fan guide track maps that highlight the branded bathrooms.

The program, developed and executed by GMR Marketing and Catapult Marketing, comes in Lysol's eighth year backing Earnhardt Ganassi Racing.

Lysol has its brand name on the deck lid of Juan Pablo Montoya's No. 42 Target Chevrolet. The car will have a Lysol paint scheme for the Oct. 17 race in Charlotte at Lowes Motor Speedway.--Karl Greenberg
