LA Gives Incentives To Film, TV Production

In the wake of "Ugly Betty" moving production to New York, Los Angeles City Council OK'd incentives for film and TV productions. The new package makes it easier to shot in LA and will include guidelines for a business tax break, reports Variety. The council's moves comes a month after California approved a $500 million production tax credit incentive program, which begins in July.
