The Christian Science Monitor is getting a makeover for its new weekly edition, to debut April 12. The 44-page weekly will boast bold graphics, photos and cartoons, reports the AP. It keeps its
traditional in-depth articles; some print columns will not appear online. The
Monitor sells little advertising, operating as a nonprofit. It is owned by the First Church of Christ, Scientist,
founded in 1908 by Mary Baker Eddy.
