American Airlines is partnering with the American Association of People with Disabilities (AAPD) to create U.S television commercials featuring positive portrayals of people with disabilities. The two organizations will recognize the efforts put forth by companies that feature disabled people in their television advertising with a contest in which people can submit ads.

Starting in July, companies and agencies can submit commercials to a jury with the winner receiving a month of free advertising airtime on the American Airlines inflight entertainment system
