IAB names Robin Webster CEO

The Internet Advertising Bureau (IAB) named Robin Webster, former Association of National Advertiser (ANA) Executive Vice President, as it's first Chief Executive Officer. The IAB, founded in 1996, is the leading online advertising association, which works to evaluate and recommend standard online advertising practices and research the effectiveness of online advertising. The announcement was made by Rich LeFurgy, IAB chairman. Webster will head the IAB's expanded office in New York, speak at industry events and work with other advertising groups, including the ANA, the American Association of Advertising Agencies and the Direct Marketing Association. Before joining ANA in 1994, Webster worked at Weight Watchers International, Nestle USA and Frito Lay. She holds an MBA degree from Columbia University and lives in Connecticut.
