NBA Signs Multiyear DirecTV Deal

NBA TV is enhancing its distribution on DirecTV with a multiyear deal, reports Variety. Kicking off in the 2009-2010 basketball season, NBA TV will be part of DirecTV's Choice XTRA tier and move to channel 216. The NBA League Pass, which airs out-of-market games weekly, will continue. Both standard and HD signals will be provided.
