Interpublic's Mediabrands unit this morning unveiled Greenhaus, an initiative to work with start-up companies offering promising new approaches to media. The effort, which is being led by Mediabrands
Chief Digital Officer Quentin George, and Universal McCann Senior Vice President-Global Lead, Social Media Brian Monahan, will consult with early stage new media and technology companies to ensure
that they develop their products and services in a way that will benefit marketers. Mediabrands did not provide details or terms of the program, and did not say how long it has been incubated, but it
said eight companies have already "successfully completed the course," including: Tubemogul, Justin.tv, Worldgolftour, 80/20 Publishing, 750 Industries,Widgetbox, Kosmix, and Danoo.
