CBS seems to be winning the February sweeps in both households (9.4 rating) and total viewers (13.9 million) with NBC narrowly taking the adults 18-49 category (5.4 rating) over Fox (5.2).

ABC, which dominated the February sweep a year ago with “Who Wants To Be a Millionaire?” is tied for third with CBS in adults 18-49 (4.4 rating) and will likely finish in third place in households with an 8.4 rating average.

For the week, CBS averaged 15.4 million viewers in prime-time (10.3 rating, 16 share). ABC had 12.5 million viewers (8.3, 13), NBC had 11.3 million (7.8, 12), Fox had 10.8 million (6.6, 10), the WB had 3.8 million (2.6, 4), UPN had 3.5 million (2.3, 4) and Pax TV had 1.4 million (1.0, 2).

NBC's “Nightly News” won the evening news race with 10.9 million viewers (8.0, 16). ABC's “World News Tonight” had 10.3 million viewers (7.8, 15) and the “CBS Evening News” had 9.1 million viewers (6.8, 13).

“ER” proved its strength last week winning with prime-time viewers with a 17.9 rating and reaching 18.3 million homes. Even the Grammies couldn’t beat the hit series. The 43rd Annual Awards trailed behind with a 16.7 rating and 17.1 million homes. “Survivor II” tied for second with a 16.7 rating and 17.0 million homes, followed by:

8. “Law and Order,” NBC, 12.6, 13.0 million homes.

9. “Will and Grace,” NBC, 12.1, 12.4 million homes.

10. “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire-Wednesday,” ABC, 12.0, 12.3 million homes.

11. “Everybody Loves Raymond,” CBS, 11.8, 12.0 million homes.

12. “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire-Thursday,” ABC, 11.3, 11.5 million homes.

13. “Frasier,” NBC, 11.2, 11.4 million homes.

14. “JAG,” CBS, 11.0, 11.2 million homes.

14. “Just Shoot Me,” NBC, 11.0, 11.3 million homes.
