Lippin Partners With jLine To Expand Event, Brand Work

Los Angeles-based entertainment public relations and communications company The Lippin Group is partnering with event development and entertainment marketing firm The jLine Group.

The effort looks to broaden Lippin's "Brand2Hollywood" unit, which focuses on event development, brand integration and product placement.

In a statement, Dick Lippin, chairman/CEO of The Lippin Group, said: "What we are offering is a low financial cost of entry for companies to be associated with Hollywood and the ability to shape a marketing campaign that achieves heightened brand visibility in the process."

In addition to handling communications/marketing work for a number of entertainment companies, Lippin has done projects for Apple Computer, General Electric, Kraft, Procter & Gamble, Johnson & Johnson, Coca-Cola and Campbell's Soup.

JL Pomeroy, president and founder of The jLine Group, added that access to Lippin's client roster will enhance "our ability to strategically align consumer brands with entertainment properties."

Among the events it has run, jLine has produced the Costume Designers Guild Awards, with Swarovski Crystal and Lacoste apparel as sponsors.
