GoTo, a provider of Pay-For-Performance search to websites across the Internet, today announced that it surpassed 40,000 active, paying advertisers in the month of February, up from 37,000 advertisers at the end of December 2000 and 21,000 advertisers at the end of December 1999. GoTo provides advertisers with highly targeted leads through the company's Pay-For-Performance search results. GoTo's search results reach approximately 75% of the total Internet audience in the United States through distribution agreements with tens of thousands of affiliates, including America Online, AltaVista and Terra Lycos.
