Cingular Wireless is auctioning one of the giant basketballs autographed by basketball stars and fans during its three-week long FanExpress tour leading up to the NCAA Men's and Women's Final Four.
The six-foot basketball was a main attraction on the nationwide interactive touring exhibit, which began in March. Former NBA greats Bill Walton, Ralph Sampson and Otis Birdsong along with NCAA
coaches Dale Brown and Jim Harick, signed their names to the giant ball along with basketball fans from around the country. As an NCAA corporate partner in 2002, Cingular Wireless used its affiliation
to give basketball fans and potential customers a chance to win prizes and enter the Cingular Wireless "Most Expressive NCAA Basketball Fan" promotion through the FanExpress.
