And the Emmys Go To Mochila

  • June 29, 2009
The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Foundation has selected content syndication technology provider Mochila to redesign and launch the Archive of American Television's web portal, EmmyTVLegends.com. The site is expected to launch in early September, and to be updated continuously.

To date, the Archive has collected over 600 rare, in-depth videotaped interviews with televisions' biggest stars and industry legends.

Mochila is providing all website design and development including custom CMS components, extensive search capabilities, video transcoding, editing and hosting.

One of the site's key features will be the ability to clip indexed segments from the Archive's thousands of hours of interview content, creating a more interactive experience.

Officially launching in April 2006, Mochila partners include The Associated Press, Reuters, AFP, Getty, Splash, WENN, Gannett, and Tribune Company, among others.--Gavin O'Malley
