Major Brick-and-Mortars Try Wireless

GeePS.com, Inc. a location-sensitive Wireless Applications Service Provider (WASP) focused on brick-and-mortar merchants and malls - has announced that 50 retailers at Palisades Center mall (WEST NYACK, NY) have started using new voice and mobile commerce wireless technologies to deliver targeted, local shopping information and news to consumers.

Just in time for the critical holiday shopping season - the center has introduced its GeePS-developed "Go Power Shopping" program, enticing consumers to register and try the newest marketing technologies. Shoppers can receive money saving promotions on their cellular phone, wireless device, or standard email by signing up to receive messages from their favorite categories and stores.

In accordance with a GeePS privacy policy, the messages will be delivered on a pull/opt-in basis only. Consumers will not receive unwanted messages, nor will their information be sold to third parties.
