Ford Motor is pitching its new Ford Taurus to car buffs. The company is sending one of the designers of the new 2010 Ford Taurus and the car itself to the The Great American Car Show at Larz Anderson Auto Museum in Brookline, Mass.

At the show, which features classic cars, designer Earl Lucas, exterior design manager for the car, will hold forth on the design philosophy behind what Ford is hoping will be its flagship car.

Ford will also display the new 2010 Ford Mustang Convertible, and the 2010 Lincoln MKZ among other cars at the show, which opens Sunday.--Karl Greenberg
