  • August 6, 2009
General Motors says it is introducing a plug-in hybrid vehicle for its Buick brand. The crossover car will be a 2011 model vehicle set for a late 2010 launch, per Tom Stephens, GM vice chairman of product development.

"Buick has always been at the forefront of new technology, so it is only fitting that the brand should debut our new plug-in hybrid technology in a beautiful new crossover," said Stephens, in a release. "This will firmly put Buick, and GM, front and center in the advanced technology game."--Karl Greenberg
