Nestlé Pure Life Seeks 'Family Of The Year'

  • August 12, 2009
As part of its ongoing Pure Life/Best Life Challenge campaign with fitness guru Bob Greene, Nestlé Pure Life bottled water is launching a "Family of the Year" search.

The winning family will receive a trip to Hawaii for a one-on-one training session with Greene, Oprah Winfrey's personal trainer and creator of the "Best Life" fitness program.

Participants in the online-based (purelifebestlife.com) challenge, designed to encourage families to adopt new, healthy habits, are asked to accomplish simple, everyday milestones related to four areas: "Drink right, eat right, get active and get green." Each time a section is completed, participants earn an online badge that shows their progress.

By buying cases of Pure Life, participants can also earn rewards including Pure Life coupons, sporting goods gift certificates, and Best Life memberships.

Now through Sept. 30, registered participants who complete challenge activities also will be eligible to register for the "Family of the Year" search.

In addition, Pure Life has added a new "Drink Right Tool" to the challenge site, which enables users to calculate the number of calories saved by substituting sugared beverages with water; and a Facebook application featuring challenge-related games.--Karlene Lukovitz
