AOL Ad Data Cracked

  • October 23, 2000
Leading Web Advertisers (LWA), the online advertising competitive intelligence company, today announced a service to track and report on campaigns on America Online's (AOL) member-based service. LWA's tracking capabilities, in development for a year, allow its clients to observe in real time where and what advertisers and brands are advertising on AOL's channels.

"AOL's member-based service's advertising information has never been available before from any source," said Michael Kubin, co-CEO of LWA. "More than one-third of all dollars spent on Web advertising are through AOL and its many channels. Any service not tracking AOL's subscriber service is missing a big chunk of the market."

LWA gives subscribers real time access to advertising campaigns running on over 2,250 US sites spanning all categories, including AOL's public Web site, AOL.com.
